The dog hates cats. No matter how often he is scolded, if they come into the garden then he is off. The problem is, whilst he is a large labrador, the cats are getting braver and he has a couple of scars on his nose to prove it.
Also the cats are gradually destroying the garden. They are not my cats; it seems like all the neighbouring cats come into our garden. I thought if they smelt the presence of a dog it would be a deterrent, but no alas.
I therefore decided to try and find a way of keeping the cats out of the garden, not only to protect the garden but also the dog!
I searched Google and ended up at Amazon where I found this product. Guess what, I purchased it and it works. I have found that it is best to keep moving it around a bit so the cats do not get complacent. So far, several weeks on, and the garden is cat free and the dog is happy.
